Go For The GOLD!!
Dear Parents,
The Literacy Committee is so excited to bring you and your
child the GOLD MEDAL CHALLENGE! The
Reading Olympics will last the entire school year. A ribbon ceremony will take place in February
for students completing 6 events. These
events must be turned in to the teacher by Friday, January 10th. Medals will be
awarded in May at the Awards Assemble.
All completed events must be turned in by Monday, May 12th.
Medals will be awarded for
the following:
*Bronze – 8 Events Completed
*Silver – 10 Events Completed
*Gold – 12 Events Completed
Each Olympic event will
have a requirement due after the reading is completed for that event.
****Take your completed assignment to your
teacher to be initialed on a Master List.
